Woman charged over Valentine’s bill sets a date with Larry Madowo
NTV’s The Trend show will on Friday evening be host Laura Oyier, the woman charged in court for failing to pay a bill at Intercontinental Hotel amounting to Sh230, 000.
The 27 year old woman, who is out on bail, will bare it all during the one-on-one interview with host Larry Madowo.
Laura appeared before Milimani Law Courts resident magistrate Edda Agade four days after Valentine’s Day and pleaded for bail citing that she was not a flight risk.
Ms Oyier, whi is also a musician, checked into the five-star hotel as a guest on January 27 and stayed on until February 16, 2015.
The prosecution, led by Chief Inspector Alice Njeru, told the magistrate that the accused enjoyed various services during her 21-day stay at the high-cost hotel.
The prosecution alleges that the accused used to sneak out of the hotel and return in the wee hours of the morning without being noticed by the staff at the reception.
Her trial is set to commence on April 15.
