Willy Paul aced his exams, pal confirms

A very close friend of gospel singer Willy Paul has told Chillax that the results of his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education are real.

This comes after Kenyans on social media dismissed the singer’s Facebook post claiming he had attained a B+ grade.

His close friend, only known in gospel music circles as Didiero, now says that he has seen the results and that they are real.

“It’s true Willy Paul did not attend class last year, he only registered as a candidate at St Peter Claver’s exam centre in Nairobi,” said Didiero.

“However, he had a teacher throughout the year who used to go to his home for tuition.”

Contacted, Willy Paul told Chillax that he had no reason to lie about his results.

“My best subject was Kiswahili, in which I scored an A,” he said.

Though we asked for his index number so we could verify his marks independently, he declined to let us have it.
