Why Sonko’s deputy, Igathe, never wears Jubilee t-shirts
Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Mike Sonko has explained why his deputy, Polycarp Igathe never wears Jubilee branded t shirts.
Sonko said he had an agreement with his deputy that he (Igathe) should wear suits and official attires as the gubernatorial candidate dons casual wear that includes t shirts.
Sonko was responding to a tweep who asked him why Igathe never wears Jubilee branded t shirts.

The Nairobi Senator has always termed himself as a politician and his deputy a technocrat who will help him manage the county.

In past interviews, including the gubernatorial debate, Sonko said he had to bring on board Igathe who has vast managerial experience to help him run the county.

Igathe often spots official shirts and a Sonko-Igathe branded black half-coat while on the campaign trail.
Sonko, on the other side, often spots the trademark red Jubilee party branded jacket with t shirts.
The gubernatorial candidate has also in the past donned the Sonko-Igathe branded half-coat.
