Water vendors and their donkeys camped outside the governor’s office in Wote town, Makueni county,  on Wednesday to protest their expulsion from the town.

The more than 50 vendors use donkeys to sell water to residents and business premises in Wote town.

The vendors marched with their animals to the governor’s office to seek audience with the County Executive in charge of Water, Environment and Irrigation Douglas Mbilu.
