‘Whine and Kotch’ singer J Capri dies at 23

Celebrated Jamaican dancehall artiste Jordan Phillips more popularly known as J Capri has died aged just 23, according to the Jamaica Observer.
The 23-year-old was on November 23 rushed to the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and reportedly underwent surgery after suffering from what is said to be a fractured skull as well as brain damage, adds stlucianewsonline.com.
The singer, popularly known for her hit ‘Wine and Kotch’ was travelling on November 23, in the Barbican area of St Andrew about 3am when she reportedly lost control of the car she was driving, which slammed into a wall, the newspaper added.
A hashtag #PrayForJCapri had been started by her fans while she was in a coma. May she RIP.
