What this child told mum about politics will break your heart
A Nairobi mum moved tweeps after sharing details of a conversation she had with her daughter on the country’s politics.
The six year-old had told her mum that she supports Jubilee Party because she does not want to be shot.
The mother, @maithakahaso went on to question where the country is headed with such thoughts among children.
The tweet has been shared over 500 times and attracted dozens of comments from users who urged political leaders to set a good example for Kenyan children.
My 6 yo daughter told me that she is in Jubilee
reasons – she doesn't want to be shot.
Asked her where she heard that.
School – she said.— maitha (@maithakahaso) October 18, 2017
Here is what Kenyans had to say.
When we have 6 year old’s cognizant of the deep political divisions in the country – then we have a big problem .

This is going to haunt us for generations. It already is. I can’t believe what we are teaching our children.
