Watch as DP Ruto pulls off the divine ‘Roho Maler’ signature dance – VIDEO
Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday excited congregants with his new dance style acquired from the African Divine Church members.
The church, which is popularly known as Roho Maler, had been invited to Ruto’s Karen residence for the launch of their sacco.
During the launch the DP was taught the church’s signature dance which he took to with ease as the ecstatic church members beat the drums and churned their unique pulsating tunes.
Ruto hosted the Roho Maler church leaders in Karen and presented them with a sacco certificate of registration while urging them to use the cooperative to secure their future financially.
“Cooperative societies and saccos are tools of resource mobilisation that empower individuals, groupings and institutions to contribute meaningfully to national development. They ingrain a culture of saving and financial prudence by enabling members to invest in long term projects and tap into ventures that attract a good return on investment,” wrote the DP.
During the launch, Ruto donned the church’s conspicuous red and green hat and danced to their tunes in celebration of the milestone.
The leaders were further urged to use the financial institution to save up and also obtain development loans.
