Vivian Cheruiyot’s husband robbed of 350k in Ngong

Police in Ngong are looking for a gang of three who attacked the husband of athlete Vivian Cheruiyot and made away with his money and car on Saturday night.

Mr Moses Kiplagat, according to police, was robbed of his cash amounting to Sh 350,200 and a Toyota Prado by three gun men as he was heading to his home in Ngong.

“They ordered him to get out of the car and took control of it. They then drove the car with him inside as they robbed him,” Nairobi County Deputy Police Commandant, Moses Ombati said.

Ngong Police boss Farah Mohammed told Nairobi News on phone that after robbing their victim, the gang dropped him at Nkoroi, near Ongata Rongai and handed him Sh1,000.

“They told him to use that money to get back to a safe place and drove away in his car,” Mr Mohammed said.
