Video director on the run with artist’s footage
Music video director Young Wallace is being sought by several musicians after he disappeared with their footage. According to several local artistes, Young Wallace has been taking their money, shooting the videos and then disappearing.
One such artiste is rapper Nazizi who is frustrated because he has delayed her video for over one month.
“I paid him, all I want is the footage of the video, I will edit it myself,” a furious Nazizi told Off the Hook. “We have even involved the police but he has even moved out of his residence. He doesn’t pick up calls too.”
When Off the Hook tried to reach Wallace, he picked up the call and explained that he had been having challenges.
“I know I owe several musicians but I am trying to work on it,” he said. He also agreed that he hadn’t been picking up artistes’ phone calls, but says he was not aware the police were looking for him.
