Uhuru feasts on nyama choma at city joint and Facebook erupts
President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Monday pictured savoring nyama choma at a butchery in Nairobi’s Kenyatta Market and fueled debate on his “meza mate” statement.
State House digital director Dennis Itumbi shared photos of the President downing some nyama choma, ugali, kachumbari and coke soda in the company of Nairobi senator Mike Sonko, nominated MP Johnson Sakaja, Mathare MP Steve Kariuki and other Jubilee leaders.
The photos reignited the debate about the President’s statement on Wednesday to the opposition during the late William Ntimama’s burial.
