Two fined Sh100m or life term for handling wildlife trophies

Two men charged with possession and dealing with wildlife trophies have been fined a total of Sh100 million or serve a life sentence by a Narok court.

According to a statement from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutor Keriako Tobiko, the convicted persons are Tiapukel Kuyoni and Munyao Nzusyo.

The first accused was found guilty of all the counts and was fined Sh60 million or serve a life sentence.

The second accused was also found guilty of the second and third count and sentenced to pay a fine of Sh40 million or serve a life term.
