Two arrested over murder of disabled woman found with crutches in genitals
Police in Machakos County have arrested two suspects linked to the gruesome murder of a disabled woman in Machakos.
The lifeless body of the 37-year-old woman, who lived alone in Kalama Location, was found half-naked on her bed on Wednesday morning.
Police suspect she was raped before her crutches were shoved into her private parts.
According to police report, Esther Wavinya Mwanthi’s half-naked body was found by her relatives who live in the same compound.
They then alerted the chief.
The body was moved to the Machakos Level Five Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination as police investigate the bizarre murder.
