Tv journalist Mary Mwikali is taken.
In a post on her Instagram page, Mwakili who hosts a show on Switch TV posted, “Celebrate your wins!! ALWAYS. Harusi tunayo,” as she flaunted her ring to her friends.
A video attached to the video suggests Mwikali had invited her friends and colleagues namely Nana Owiti and Joyce Maina at the time she revealed the exciting news.
The news comes months after the journalist received a proposal from a musician namely Morris Githinji while on air.
And although she did not accept it while on air, Nairobi News understands she eventually accepted it when the show was done.
Mwikali’s fans have cautioned her against pulling their legs while others flocked her post with congratulatory messages.

The media personality has been mum on her love life and has never explicitly declared anything.
