Tusker unveils names of reality show participants

East African Breweries Ltd has unveiled 25 participants for its new Tusker reality show; Twende Kazi.

The celebrities from Kenya and Uganda are drawn from the music, sports and media industries, and their task is to deliver a bottle of tusker in a relay to rugby player Humphrey Khayange who lives in London.

The sportsmen include Kipchoge Keino, Ezekiel Kemboi and Allan Wanga, while musicians are Collo, Bebe Cool, Radio and Weasel.

Thespians are Charles  Bukeko, Felix Odiwuor and Lucy Wangui of Vioja Mahakamani.

The media is represented by Buzz editor Philip Mwaniki, Pinky Ghelani, Seanice Kacungira, Flava Tumusiime and Eve D’Souza.

The show starts on February 23.

Meanwhile, Tanzania will not be represented in the show. Off the Hook has learnt that at least two Tanzanian musicians, who requested anonymity,  declined to take part citing poor pay, a claim Tusker brand managerLinda Obado refuted.
