Tullamore D.E.W. Irish whiskey was last week launched in Nairobi at an invite only event.

The whiskey’s global brand ambassador John Quinn hosted an exclusive whisky experience at Nyama Mama Restaurant where he introduced the brand’s 12-year-old Special Reserve to the Kenyan market.

Speaking to Nairobi News, the 60 year-old Mr Quinn said; “I’ve been in the whisky business since 1974 and worked with different brands till the late 80s when I joined Tullamore DEW. Six years ago the company said, ok, enough sales and marketing development, we need a global ambassador and you’re it.”
