Hope in sight for an end to traffic jams

Major road works to end Nairobi’s notorious traffic jams start this week.

A Nigerian firm Reynolds Construction has been awarded the multi-billion shilling tender to undertake the project which entails widening at least 15 key roads or turning them into dual carriageways.

The whole scheme will take three years to complete.

The projects are being financed by the national government and international partners.
