Tanzanian beauty queen accuses Kenyan counterpart of stealing her crown – VIDEO
Miss Tanzania Diana Lukumai Edward is mad at our beauty queen Evelyn Njambi. Not because she trounced her to become top in Africa and top five in the world but because she reported her Female Genital Mutilation documentary to the authorities, snatching her chance to be top in Africa.
A seemingly angry Ms Edwards during her arrival interview at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam accused Ms Njambi of spoiling her chance to scoop the beauty with a purpose award.
Ms Edward said many other contestants had similar ideas but none reported each other like Ms Njambi did to the extent of accusing her of shooting her documentary in Kenya.

She added that all representatives from Africa were disappointed with Ms Njambi’s actions as she went to report with Miss Congo who gave out information to other contestants.
“Tulikuwa tunaongea tunasema tusupportiane as Africans, kumbe ni kuwa fake, you know it was very fake, tunasema tusupportiane kuona beauty with purpose yangu imeingia top 20 ilimuuma sana kwa sababu katika Africa ya kwangu kila mu alikuwa akisema Diana you deserve this lakini she played a fake game,” said Ms Edward.
Ms Njambi was crowned top in Africa and also emerged top 5 in the world.
