Suave thief who stole Sh30,000 phone arrested
A man who was captured on a surveillance footage stealing a Sh 30,000 phone from an electronic shop has been arrested by the police.
The shop owner Karanja Richo told Nairobi News, that the man, who fits the description of the unidentified man in the video, was arrested after a tip off by people who claimed to be work colleagues of his.
The man is believed to be a supervisor at a local security company and was identified by fellow employees who saw the video that has been shared widely on social media.

“Due to the video being shared multiple times some people who claim to be colleagues of him identified him and notified me. We then notified the police who have launched an investigation into the case to determine if he is indeed the man in the video,” says Mr Richo.
The incident took place at an electronic shop in Limuru on June 30th.
