Former England international Rio Ferdinand admits to reaching out to Victor Wanyama for advice on which songs he should listen to during his current stay in Nairobi.

The 40-year-old is on a two-day working trip to Nairobi which has been organised by Guinness.

“I am a very big fan of him (Wanyama). When I was coming over I asked him about Kenya and requested for him to share some of the songs I should listen to while here,” Ferdinand told Nairobi News.

Ferdinand also spoke highly of Kenya, explaining he wishes to sample some of the foods on offer, lifestyle, and wildlife.

Ferdinand has however ruled out Manchester United’s chances of winning the 2018/2019 English Premier League title, instead tipping Manchester City and Liverpool to challenge for the both the Premiership and the Uefa Champions League title.

The former Manchester United defender is set to take part in a series of activities, including an experience to mingle with Kenyan football fans and Sunday’s tomorrow’s English Premier League game between Liverpool and Manchester United.
