Wanyama hater bashed for lecturing Kenyan skipper on how to spend his cash

A Twitter user has came under fire after an ill-advised attempt to lecture Harambee Stars captain and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama, on how to spend his hard-earned cash.

The tweep unwittingly made Wanyama a top trending topic on Twitter by ranting on how ‘stingy’ the Spurs midfielder is.

To drive his point home, the tweep compared Wanyama to the ‘philanthropic’ efforts of retired Ivory Coast striker, Didier Drogba.

He also faulted Wanyama for not helping his fellow countrymen inspite of the humongous weekly wage he earns in England.

Wanyama, who joined the London-based club, three years ago from Southampton, reportedly earns a weekly wage of Sh9 million (70,000 pounds), has a contract that runs until the year 2021.

However, Kenyans on Twitter were quick to remind the tweep that Wanyama was not voted in by anyone and therefore he owes no one any schools or hospitals and that there is a sitting national government elected by the people to handle such matters.
