Ushuru players were scared of K’Ogallo fans, coach

Ushuru coach Ken Kenyatta has conceded his players were intimidated by the packed and noisy Gor Mahia fans during his team’s weekend’s 2-0 loss to the table leaders.

The tax collectors were expected to provide a challenge to the runaway leaders on the premise of their recent wins over bigwigs AFC Leopards and Tusker FC this season.

But the tax collectors instead succumbed on the grand stage, with the players failing to showcase their trademark passing style and goal scoring threat.

“I saw it from the word go, the venue was packed and everybody was against my boys. They couldn’t just cope. The scenario was different to the game against Leopards.” Kenyatta said.

Kenyatta, a former Kenya International, added he expected to see his team finish in one of the top five places this season.
