Gor keeper Oluoch called up to SportPesa All Stars team
Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia custodian, Boniface Oluoch, has been called up to the SportPesa Premier League All Stars team set to play Hull City next week.
Nairobi News understands that Oluoch has been provisionally included in the travelling party to England as Posta Rangers custodian Patrick Matasi is having challenges processing a Visa to travel to the UK.
Also facing the same challenge in processing the same document is Geoffrey Kataka, who incidentally is Matasi’s teammate at top flight club Rangers FC.
“They (players) indicated in their application form that they are Postal Communications employees and not professional footballers, and yet they wanted to travel to the UK to play football. This is now being sorted out but Oluoch now comes in on standby,” our source said.
The squad is expected to depart for England on February 21, ahead of the match against the English Premier League club on February 27.
