Heavily pregnant Faith Chepngetich treated to baby shower

World and Olympics 1,500m women’s champion, Faith Chepngetich, who is expecting her first baby, was recently treated to a baby shower by friends and family.

Photos of the red and white themed occasion shows a smiling Chepngetich, in a glowing white dress, flaunting her baby bump, surrounded by her friends.

The pink sash that the athlete draped over her dress and the pink decor at the venue gave a hint that she could be expecting a baby girl.

The youthful athlete was treated to gifts by those in attendance including her close friend and long distance runner Vivian Cheruiyot.

Chepngetich, 24, who missed out on the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia in April, is expected to remain out of action for atleast another year.

Meanwhile, Nairobi News has established that her long-time partner Anthony Kiptum, a former athlete, is the unborn baby’s father.
