Champions Gor Mahia extend coach Nuttall’s deal
Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have extended head coach Frank Nuttall’s deal by a year.
The deal was tabled to the soft spoken tactician on Tuesday by club chairman Ambrose Rachier hours before he jetted out for Scotland where he will be on a seven-week holiday before returning on January 3 to prepare the team for the African Champions league campaign.
Nutall who guided the glamour club to a record 14th league title has however not signed the deal as he asked for more time to consult his family.
Should he pen the deal, he will continue to serve on the same terms as his current contract stipulates.

When he joined the champions on September 4, the soft spoken coach was handed a probation three-month contract worth Sh1.8 million averaging Sh600,000 a month.
This is Sh50,000 more than what his predecessor Bobby Williamson earned.
Speaking to at the sidelines of a luncheon organised for the team by the local football administration at a city hotel, club chairman Ambrose Rachier said: “We had an extensive meeting with the coach (Frank Nuttall) prior to leaving (for Scotland) yesterday evening (Tuesday) where we tabled the terms of extension.
“He requested for time to consult his family. As you know, he has been living here in a hotel and this has been possible because he is alone. He is now looking at the possibilities of bringing his family along and this means he can no longer put up in a hotel.
“There are a few things that we will need to agree on when he returns,” he said.
