Asante Kotoko unhappy with ‘poor’ training ground, ‘substandard’ team bus in Nairobi

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have protested over what they’ve termed as poor treatment in Nairobi ahead of Saturday’s Caf Confederations Cup match against Kariobangi Sharks.

Among the visiting team’s complaints is that they have been accorded a poor training ground at Goan Institute.

The team is also unhappy with the team bus they have been offered terming it as not fitting their standards.

IMPRESSIVE RECORD

Sharks, who are making a debut into continental football, swept aside Djibouti side Artar Solar 9-1 over two legs to book a date with the Ghanaian club which got a bye to the first round of the tournament.

The 24-time Ghanaian champions arrived in Nairobi on Tuesday for Saturday’s match at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani with the return leg set for Accra on Christmas eve.

Sharks will go into the match with an impressive record of three wins and a draw, scoring 11 goals and conceding only two in all competitions this season.
