Sonko foul-mouths Muthama, Aladwa for insulting Uhuru
Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko on Sunday joined the shameful list of of politicians who take to public podiums to hurl insults at each other.
The flambouyant politician directed the unprintable remarks at Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama and ODM Nairobi County chairman George Aladwa.
The three-minute speech was captured on tape by NTV and has widely circulated on social media.
In the footage, Senator Sonko said he will never seat backand watch as people continue to insult President Uhuru Kenyatta. The remarks were wildly cheered by the audience.
He at some point lapsed into his mother tongue in his harangue against Senator Muthama.

Kenyans online faulted Senator Sonko for abusing his position of leadership.
Alfred Mbaka commented; “This kind of a rant could lead to serious repercussions. Rwanda’s genocide started by just small insults. God have mercy.”
Eliza Ngaruiya added; “Hawa ni viongozi wale wanatuongoza ambao waachilia matusi kama hayo mbele ya watoto,,,, May God have mercy to our land Kenya,,,, laana tupu zimejaa,,,, what a shame.”
Another user, atticus NOW commented; “HA! They really can’t help themselves can they. Only the citizens who are dirt-poor support all these types of politicians, they’re easy to move with emotional rhetoric.”
