FATHER WAS LAND AGENT

He said his father used to be an agent for that land which he later sold to one Mr Waitiki genuinely.

“When we took over the government, we had to fulfill our promise thus we negotiated with Mr Waitiki and gave him an upfront payment of Ksh 1 billion. People who had already built permanent buildings on the land were each asked to pay Sh200,000 to get title deed. All the money was paid to the government,” added Sonko.
