Drama as Simba goon ‘bewitches’ Nkana players before epic match

Tanzanian champions Simba SC’s resounding win over Zambian side Nkana FC in the Caf Africa Champions League has become the subject of online debate over a strange off the pitch incident.

This following the emergence of a video clip showing the level of bizarre intimidation that the Zambia team players were subjected to just before kick off.

The video shows a man donning a Simba jersey approaching Nkana’s team bus just when the door has been opened for the players to alight.

STRANGE RITUALS

The man, who has since been identified as ‘Ngede’ and who Nairobi News reliably understands is part of Simba’s security team, suddenly sprinkles water below the van’s door.

The audacity of his bizarre actions sends panic into Nkana players, who only moments earlier appeared to be jovially singing inside the bus.

The cameramen taking the video then zooms in on a strange bird which is walking next to the van’s front left tyre. The bird then disappear beneath the bus.

But this man ‘Ngede’ is not yet done with his strange rituals.

He immediately returns into focus and proceeds to rub his backside on the door of the van with the visiting players still inside.

POWERFUL SORCERER

If witchcraft is real, then the man must be a very ‘powerful’ sorcerer, considering that Simba went on to thrash Nkana 3-1 to overturn a 2-1 deficit they suffered days earlier in Zambia.

The 4-3 aggregate victory secured Simba’s passage into the lucrative group stages of the tournament with an assured Sh54 million in prize money.

The Zambian bigwigs, like Kenyan champions Gor Mahia, have now been relegated to the second tier Caf Confederation Cup.
