Show me the OB, Sakaja dares as he denies drunken arrest
Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has denied being arrested and spending a night at Kilimani police station for flouting Covid-19 rules.
According to a police report, he was drinking with 10 others at a bar along Dennis Pritt Road during curfew hours.
Mr Sakaja, who ironically is the chairperson of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Covid-19 Situation in Kenya, posted on his Twitter handle claiming that he has never been arrested.
“Never been arrested. Won’t be. Show me an OB Number,” tweeted Mr Sakaja.
He dared the police to prove his arrest by revealing the OB number.
However, videos of him captured inside a cell at Kilimani Police station have gone viral.
He is seen asking officers for his phone and threatening some consequences if it is lost.
An officer who offered to speak to him was shooed off with the “super senator” asking him if he would get inside the cell.
This is what Kenyans had to say.
But again, drink boss, drink! There is no Covid-19! Your seniors lead by example holding meetings with huge turnout especially in Western Kenya.

The good thing with Kenyans is, they wait for you to deny, receipts pulled for you.@SakajaJohnson, things do happen. Ignoring would’ve been better than denying
