Should Kimaiyo’s men enjoy free rides?
The Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo should clarify whether his officers should continue to enjoy free rides in Public Service Vehicles.
Often, these officers flag down a matatu, board and commute without paying as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
You’d think the law permits them to do so. But I think it is a most discourteous attitude that speaks volumes about abuse of power.
