Shocking screenshots: Are these Kenya’s nurses from hell?
A conversation between self-confessed nurses has revealed the horrendous acts they commit to their patients and their sadistic levels of professional misconduct.
The conversation, captured in a series of Facebook screenshots, highlight blatant acts of drug overdose, outright torture and neglect that they subject patients to.
Nairobi News has not confirmed the authenticity of the conversation. The Facebook posts by the nurses have since been deleted, but not before a keen user had screenshot them..
The ‘nurses from hell’, whose names and faces have been shared online, seemed to take pride in explaining in detail the various tricks and underhand practises they employ in dealing with stubborn patients.
Here is a sample of the Facebook conversations:
‘PUSHED TO THE WALL’
Nurse 1 says: “….nways, if you ever get yourself in hospital bed in a life support machine mmh trust me that nurse will unplug it just to charge her phone. When pushed to the wall we can be that baaaad lol”.
Nurse 2 says: I wish I was there, ningemuacha apate 3rd degree tear or given her a generous bilateral episiotomy na nimshone bila lignocaine mdogo mdogo for 2 hours. Then ni niendee huyo bwana yake vizuri.
Nurse 3 says: Huyu (patient) unafaa kuhakikusha amepata 3rd degree tear na akiwa labour room una chuna chuna kidogo!
Nurse 4 says: Huyu nikimpata nampea i.m aminophyline faster faster aende akiendaga, never to get the life to call people whores.
Nurse 5 says: I feel you guys, huyu inafaa umfanyie V.E 1000 times, forced to push at 4cm before the cervix is fully dilated, insist she’s dirty and that she’d shower before you attend to her…”
The leaked converations have drawn the ire of netizens.
