Rogue doctors are colluding with parents to conduct the cut on young girls.
They are operating secretly in Nairobi estates, including Eastleigh, South B and South C — and charging between Sh500 and Sh5,000 depending on their expertise and experience.
“It is going on right under our noses,” confirmed California County Assembly representative Zulfa Hakim Mohammed.
“Some parents are colluding with medical practitioners to circumcise their daughters.”
