Sevens rugby warriors led a hymn in Church and it was glorious – VIDEO

Kenya Sevens Rugby team went for a thanksgiving service at the Christ Is The Answer Ministries (Citam) where they inspired the congregants with a hymn.

The team has been praised for always praying before and after the matches.

Last week, the team, also known as Shujaa, beat sevens rugby powerhouse Fiji to win the Singapore leg of the IRB Sevens Rugby circuit.

The players later in the week presented the trophy to President Uhuru Kenyatta who awarded them Sh10 million.

They have also appeared on Churchill Show and Jeff Koinange Live.

But on Sunday, the players, all clad in blue jeans and the now popular red and green jerseys delivered the trophy to Citam, Valley Road for a thanks giving service.

Jatelo Bob, who uploaded a video the players leading a hymn, said: “The Kenya Sevens Team at Church today. CITAM Valley Road adopted them and will provide financial support through the series. Here the team leads the church in singing ‘To God be the Glory’. What a team!!! It is an honour to be represented as a country by such men as these.”
