Senator Murkomen celebrates birth of his fourth child

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and family is celebrating the birth of a baby boy. The youthful politician on Wednesday evening took to social media to announce the good news to his online followers.
He wrote on Facebook and Twitter: “My son Kiberur Kipchumba was born today (Wednesday) at 6:35pm. He is 4.075kg and 53.7 centimeters. Congratulations my dear Wife. We are truly blessed.”
The newborn is the fourth child of Murkomen, 37, who is widely regarded as a close confidant and the defacto spokesperson of Deputy President William Ruto.
Mr Murkomen has in the past emphasized the importance of family and his commitment to his wife Grace, whom they met in campus and dated for six years.
“I feel that politics is robbing us time to visit our family friends. I thank my beautiful and lovely wife Grace for playing the vital role in holding this family together,” the first time legislator said.
