WATCH: Senator kicked out of ‘Churchill Show’ live recording

Kajiado Senator Philip Mpaayei was on Thursday kicked out of ‘Churchill Show‘ live recording in Ongata Rongai.

The Senator and his security details arrived late at the show and felt slighted that his presence was not recognised by the event’s Master of Ceremony.

Kajiado county leaders, including Deputy Governor Martin Moshisho and the Governor’s wife Edna Lenku, had already been formally introduced to the audience.

‘BREACH OF PROTOCOL’

Senator Mpaayei, miffed by the’ breach of protocol’, started howling for recognition before turning unruly. He was visibly drunk.

The security team at the event clashed with the Senator’s bodyguards as the lawmaker was being led out of the tent.

The Senator caused an ugly scene as he attempted to resist being evicted and at some point fell right in front of the crowd. The audience watched in bewilderment as others recorded the incident on their phones.

VIDEO WIDELY SHARED

A video of the incident, shared widely on social media, shows people in the background shouting “Msimuumize,” as the pushing and shoving went on.
