Sauti Sol’s ‘Nishike’ hits a million YouTube views
Popular Kenyan group Sauti Sol have a reason to celebrate this week after hitting one million views on YouTube.
Their controversial Nishike hit has now been viewed a million times and the group is in a celebratory mood.
“We thank our fans for making our song the most watched video of 2014,” said group member Bien.
The video released mid last year was deemed inappropriate for the Kenyan masses and banned.
But it became a major hit and the group won Best African Act in the MTV Europe awards late last year.
