Safety of civilians should come first
The current spate of insecurity is worrying. Several robbery attempts in which thugs are shot dead have occurred in the last month.
What is worse, however, is that the safety of the public — especially during the shootings is not ensured. In the most recent case along Kimathi Street on Tuesday, a woman lost her life and several passersby were injured in the crossfire.
The police Inspector General should do something about the way the police handle these crime attempts.
