Rwanda cultural day
Hundreds of people, mostly Rwandese living in Nairobi, gathered at the Impala grounds on Saturday to mark the Rwanda Cultural Day.
The event was about Rwandan culture, food and dance.
“The event is in its third year and we are humbled that we are still going strong in preserving our culture even when we are far from home,” said Joseph Munyetora, the Youth Vice Commissioner, Rwanda Diaspora.
Traditional foods like inyumbati mixed with beans and matoke with groundnuts were served.
