Russell Peter’s tickets sold out
Canadian comedian Russell Peters seems to enjoy a big fan base in Kenya, if the tickets to the Almost Famous World Tour, Kenyan edition are anything to go by.
The sale of Gold and Platinum tickets on ticketsasa.com has closed, a week to the show.
Retailing at Sh15, 000 and Sh10, 000 the sale of tickets in the two categories is showing that they have been closed.
Not even the silver tickets that are retailing Sh 5,000 are available. The organisers have said they are e expecting more than 6,000 people to show up for the event.
Russell will be coming to Kenya on February 8 for a grand comedy show set to be held at Carnivore from 6pm to 10pm.
The comedian is in South Africa this weekend and early next week for the same tour performing in four different cities.
After the Nairobi show, the award winning comedian will then travel to India for other shows.
