Robert Alai in fist fight with city askari – Video
Controversial blogger Robert Alai was on Wednesday morning involved in a fierce exchange of blows with a Nairobi city askari on Kenyatta avenue, at the city centre, over a row.
The city official had allegedly confiscated the key to Mr Alai’s white BMW car under unclear circumstances.
According to eye witnesses, the city askari was the first to punch Mr Alai on the face after the blogger attempted to resist his effort to confiscate the car key.
The city askari then literally took off with the key as Mr Alai gave chase.
Mr Alai is said to have responded with a feisty upper-cut that left the city askari bleeding.
