Opposition leader Raila Odinga has faulted Interior Secretary Joseph Nkaissery over his warning to Nasa not to claim that they well will August presidential election by 10 million votes.

Mr Odinga said the opposition is not breaking any law with its slogan and accused the CS of playing politics.

He told Mr Nkaissery to focus on service delivery as a public servant and to let politicians do politics.

Mr Odinga made the remarks Thursday during a visit to Kibera.

The CS made the warning on Wednesday during the International Conference on Peace, Security and Social Enterprise, which is geared towards achieving peaceful elections in Kenya.

“The IEBC has 19 million voters, according to the register. Some people are going ahead to claim that they have numbers amounting to 22.5 million. This is lying to Kenyans and inciting them,” said the CS.
