Raila: Matiang’i working with Jubilee to rig elections
Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga has made sensational claims that acting Interior CS Fred Matiang’i is working together with IEBC to rig the elections.
Speaking in Kibra on Tuesday, Mr Odinga said Mr Matiang’i, who was appointed Interior CS in acting capacity after demise of Joseph Nkaissery, was trying to rig elections under the pretext of security.
“Matiang’i is the Jubilee point man in Nyamira and we’ll not allow him to interfere with IEBC as we know he’s working on behalf of Jubilee,” said Mr Odinga.
“Matiang’i should make a choice whether he is a Jubilee political player or a public servant.”
His running mate Kalonzo Musyoka said Al Ghurair should disqualify themselves from printing presidential ballot papers because of conflict of interest.
