Raila claims hackers invaded IEBC database to rig elections

Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga has sensationally claimed of an invasion on the database of the electoral commission on Tuesday.

In a statement on Wednesday morning, Mr Odinga gave a blow by blow account of how the alleged attack by hackers was conducted using the password of slain IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando.

The hackers, according to Mr Odinga, gained entry of the database at 12:37pm on Tuesday.

They gained full control of the system and acquired powers to alter data

Mr Odinga claimed the hackers installed an algorithm that ensured that results in the system maintained a 11 per cent gap between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

“We have asked our supporters to reject this fraudulent elections. They should also remain calm as we get deeper into this issue. It’s a tragedy of monumental proportions. Uhuru must go home,” said Mr Odinga.

“Kenyans are disturbed by this fraud. But we urge them to remain calm, continue with their normal schedule, go to office, but there will come a time when we may want to call them to action,” said his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
