Prince William’s ex to get married in Kenya

One of Prince William’s old flames will be getting married in Kenya at an intimate ceremony in the wild at Isiolo.

Jessica Craig, the daughter of Ian Craig one of the founders of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is set to wed her conservationist fiancé, Prof Jonathan Baillie at her father’s ranch on March 26.

Jessica and the Prince were close friends while growing up to the extent that they would visit the Lewa Wildlife sanctuary together.

She was the only woman before the Prince’s current wife Kate Middleton who provoked an official clarification from the royals on the Prince’s love life.

In 2003, Prince Charles’s staff issued a statement denying the couple were in a relationship.

They had never done this for any of William’s other alleged girlfriends, prompting speculation there may have been some truth in the rumours.

GRAIG WEDDING

Shortly after, Jessica was seated next to the prince at his ‘Out Of Africa’ 21st birthday party at Windsor Castle.

In an interview, he insisted he did not have a steady girlfriend at St Andrews, where he had first met Kate two years earlier.

Prince William’s first university girlfriend Olivia Hunt wedded in London as the Prince was away on a family skiing trip in France.

The Craig wedding may however attract the attention of the Prince who has been close to the family to the extent of missing his cousin’s wedding in 2008 in favour of that of Jessica’s brother, Batian who tied the knot in a Maasai themed wedding in Kenya.

His then girlfriend Kate Middleton represented him at the May 2008 royal wedding of his cousin Peter Phillip.
