President Kenyatta mourns Lugari MP Ayub Savula’s daughter
President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence and encouragement to Lugari Member of Parliament, Ayub Savula, following the death of his daughter.
Ms Joan Chiri Atugah died on Thursday at a Nairobi hospital after an illness.
President Kenyatta said he was deeply saddened by the death of Ms Joan, terming it a big loss to the MP’s family.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult moment of sorrow and grief. It is our humble prayer that the Almighty God will give you the strength to bear the loss,” the President said in his message to the MP.
President Kenyatta sent a similar message of condolence to the family, relatives and friends of former Bomachoge MP, Zephaniah Nyang’wara who has also passed on.
The President described the late Nyang’wara as an astute who served the people of Bomachoge with commitment and dedication.
He prayed to God to give the bereaved families the strength and grace to bear the loss.
