Policeman warms hearts with act of kindness
A picture showing a traffic police officer giving a helping hand to a woman in a wheelchair has warmed many hearts on social media.
The photo was shared on Twitter by a user by the name Sande Kennedy with an appeal to other tweeps help make it trend as it pointed a different image of the much maligned Kenyan police service.
In the photo, the uniformed officer is helping the woman cross a busy road in the city. The officer’s action has since been lauded as a “rare” act of kindness from the men in uniform.
This picture should be trending instead the Kenyan githeri media will show us #githrriman and also trace him for interview #UhuruVsRaila2 pic.twitter.com/5Zm6J3a1Lt

Sande Kennedy also wondered why Kenyans should be fascinated with the famous “Githeri man” and fail to take notice of such gestures of kindness.
This is what Kenyans on Twitter had to say:
It is already trending. Do you know how police are famous in Kibera, Mathare and Kisumu? That’s enough limelight
