Police intensify search for masseuse over rape of Norwegian girl

Police in Kilimani division have intensified the man-hunt for a middle aged man who allegedly raped an 18-year-old Norwegian girl at a massage parlor along Ngong road.

Kilimani OCPD Peter Katam told Nairobi News that Paul Jaindi allegedly raped the Norwegian tourist at Malaika Hair and Beauty Spa, a massage parlor located in Greenhouse mall.

The victim and her 15-year-old sister had gone at the parlor for a body scrub and a massage .

“We are making a passionate appeal to all Kenyans who are against this kind of primitive behavior to alert police in case he is located anywhere so that justice can be served,” he said.

Mr Jaindi is said to have changed residence after the incident that took place on March 30.

The victim’s step mother who spoke to Citizen TV said the girl has since gone back to school in Norway but is battling with depression.

Police are optimistic of catching up with the suspect despite his change of residence.

“He has not gone outside the country, but he changed residenc. Since there are law enforcement agencies all over the country, we know he will be arrested and arraigned in court,” said Mr Katam.

“We are determined to bring the matter to a court of law and we want this to serve as an example to discourage a repeat of such behavior,” he added.

The suspect is a father of two young girls.
