Shanty Slums up in smoke
Residents of Shanty Slums next to Loresho Estate along Waiyaki Way neighboring Kangemi spent Tuesday evening out in the cold after an abrupt fire brought down the slums completely.
An estimated 700 people were left homeless as the intense fire brought down all the wooden and Mabati structures giving residents no time to salvage most of their household goods.
