Peter Kenneth rejects Nairobi results, demands fresh polls
Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth has rejected results for Nairobi Jubilee Party primaries, demanding fresh polls citing inconsistencies during the exercise.
Kenneth’s rejection of the results has come even before the announcement of the final results.
With results starting to trickle in, Kenneth’s main competitor, Senator Mike Sonko, had garnered 7,727 votes against Kenneth’s 2,431 votes from Langata constituency with Bishop Margaret Wanjiru trailing with 263 votes.
