Papa Shirandula to be buried on Monday
Celebrated actor Papa Shirandula – real Charles Bukeko – will be laid to rest on Monday in his Busia home.
Nairobi News has established that the body left Montenzuma Funeral Home located along Mbagathi Way, Nairobi for Busia County on Sunday.
SOMBRE MOOD
A sombre mood engulfed at the morgue as family and friends gathered to send him off.
The actor died on Saturday morning at the Karen Hospital with the family revealing that he had tested positive for Covid-19.
Before being taken to hospital, Mr Bukeko was on self-isolation at his home.
MOURNING
His death, shocked the nation with President Uhuru Kenyatta leading the country in mourning him.
Others institutions which have mourned the actor include the Media Council of Kenya (MCK), the Royal Media Services (RMS) among others.
Mr Bukeko leaves behind his wife and three children.
